Selling Your Home To Support Your Crappy Business: STUPID

Bad Economy + High-end items = Fail!

At least that is what happens to most, but not to Vanessa Cooreman Smith. She decided to sell her home in order to cut back on expenses to support her business. While she is lucky to follow her dreams, the idea of sacrificing everything for a high-end store in this market is retarded. It doesn’t help that her husband is a realtor (look at the housing market).  Story

It pisses me off to see so many people take things for granted. I would only agree with her decision if her house was really crappy and she was able to buy a nicer one with the money she sold it for. If not, she is an idiot because her business will most likely fail with the way our economy is now.

I wonder if her business is the only way for her to have income short term. I compare it to a car… If my car was essential for me for income, say I am a taxi cab driver. Then the car breaks and I need to throw money at it… Well do I walk away from my only income or do I swallow the hard pill and spend the money so I can keep going?
